Director No 9 1943

No: 2151

An instrument for measuring angles in azimuth and elevation in connection with artillery or machinegun firing and general topographic work; equipped with fine and coarse azimuth micrometers and normaly a magnetic needle.

But the No 9 does not have a magnetic needle. Therefore I placed this Director (or Aiming circle) on my binocular site instead of placing it on my compass site.
