7 x 50 Commander Steiner EB monocular with Compass

This rare Steiner 'Commander' 7x50 (EB) Monocular is supplied with a compass which also can be lightened by night (2 button batteries 1.44 V needed). The olive green rubber armouring hints at a military use (Steiner produces optics for many armies), but is also a helpful device for maritime use. A hand grip and a strap make holding and viewing easier. Instead of using the strap, the monocular can also be threaded onto a tripod.
