E.Leitz Wetzlar(BEH), 7 x 50 Navy model with porro II prisms 1943

This is a Kriegsmarine binocular from E. Leitz, Wetzlar beh 7x50 made in 1943.

The binocular has serial nr. 324703 and was used at u-boats and warships during world war 2.

Kriegsmarine Leitz models have Porro II prisms.

The binoculars is in a very good condition.

At left side you see optic magnification 7x50, "beh" is the code for Leitz Wetzlar, and the serial#.

The lenses have no scratches and are clean, they have a sharp picture and a fantastic view.

Last picture: U-boat 47 – Kapitänleutnant Günther Prien with this type of binoculars. U-47 disapeared in 1941 in the North Atlantic.
